An Afternoon at the Locks

We ventured out to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks and Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden or most people we’ve talked here refer to them as the “Ballard Locks.”  We watched a fishing boat, Husky headed to Alaska.

We romped around the side of the hill.  I’m sure we disturbed some people, but hey this is the city and green grass will not be wasted by The Bennett Boys.

We found a nice green spot at the crest of the hill to play frisbee.  It was more like tackle frisbee.  Jen scored us a surprise Sparkling Lemonaid when she went to the van for something.  It was a beautiful spring day by anyone’s standards let alone Seattle’s.
